Malawi’s first ever Surestream football Academy has dominated the Under-20 national team call up list released over the weekend by Football Association of Malawi (FAM).
Surestream, managed by former Malawi national football team captain Peter Mponda, have contributed five players to the 39-member squad for Caf Youth Championship preliminary against Botswana on April 5.
They have contributed three defenders Mark Fodya, Trevor Kalema and Levison Maganizo and two midfielders Ernest Tambe and Isaac Mwale.
Mzuzu United and Hard Knockers are tied on second having both contributed four players,
Youth Azam Tigers FC have proved that their status by being the only Super League clubs to have contributed more players at three with Blue Eagles, Bullets FC, Moyale Barracks, Epac and TNM defending champions Silver Strikers contributing one each.
